Meeting Services Manager Remote & Hybrid Only Jobs in Minnesota

A Meeting Services Manager in the hospitality industry coordinates, plans, and executes meetings and events for various clients. This role involves liaising with clients to understand their needs and expectations, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, arranging food and beverage services, coordinating with other hotel services such as accommodation and transportation, and ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed smoothly and efficiently. They should also have a good understanding of the hospitality industry and customer service. They should be proficient in using various software applications related to event management. Certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE) could be beneficial. Prior to becoming a Meeting Services Manager, an individual might have roles such as Event Coordinator, Banquet Manager, or Sales Coordinator in the hotel or hospitality industry.
