Director of Food and Beverage Jobs in Texas
A Director of Food and Beverage in the hospitality industry is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment. This includes planning menus, ensuring quality of products, maintaining inventory, meeting health and safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to provide an excellent customer experience. They are also tasked with managing budgets, increasing profitability, and setting strategic goals for the department. They often work closely with the executive chef, restaurant manager, and other key personnel to ensure all food and beverage offerings align with the brand's standards and guest expectations.
This position requires a strong background in the foodservice industry, with a keen understanding of food and beverage trends and regulations. Ideally, a Director of Food and Beverage should have a degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field.
