Job Summary

Primary focus is Face-to-Face meetings to understand customer needs for Food & Beverage, Hospitality, and Event Managers to build long-lasting relationships.  Account Executives must be strategic minded in that they must understand their markets, customers, competitors, and products to effectively position Southern Aluminum to grow market share within defined territories.  Must be a team player by supporting peers in other territories, work with national account managers to develop key accounts, and provide complete information for quotes / orders to insure that operations can meet customer requirements in a timely manner.  Compensation including a guarantee and commission will range from $60-$125k.  Individual must live in the market territory they are assigned.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

  • Grow assigned territory within key market segments including hospitality, dealers, buying groups, management companies, as well as others that apply to the Southern Aluminum brand of products.
  • Develop new leads, assign follow up tasks to leads in CRM, and report on the activities in CRM.
  • Follow up on Leads, understand the customers’ needs and convert those needs into quotes.  Once a quote has been generated and is documented on the pipeline, follow up on the quotes with face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails until converted into an order.
  • Define strategic direction for the region which will include sales target, product development needs and competitor movements.
  • Monitor relationships with existing customers through CRM system and ensure the CRM system provides an effective sales funnel.
  • Maintain high customer service level.
  • Create and implement a replacement program for every customer with tables greater than five years old.

As assigned, develop national account relationships with groups headquarter in a given territory.
