General Manager East Hampton Nightlife Venue

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized General Manager to lead a high-volume nightlife venue in East Hampton for the summer season. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including guest experience, VIP and bottle service, staffing, training, financial performance, and venue standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, develops strong teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position offers significant growth opportunities within our expanding hospitality group, including potential leadership opportunities in New York City and other major markets following the summer season.

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily venue operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth execution.
Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly team members.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, labor costs, and team performance.
Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Oversee VIP, bottle service, reservations, and guest relations.
Monitor sales, expenses, inventory, and financial performance.
Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.
Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Foster a positive, accountable, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

3+ years of management experience in nightlife, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, lounges, or high-volume entertainment venues.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance.
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with POS systems and hospitality technology platforms.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
