Job Title: Catering Captain
Location: New York City Metro Area

We're seeking a Catering Captain to lead high-level events and ensure flawless execution from start to finish. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy managing teams, and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead pre-event planning by reviewing paperwork, conducting site visits, and coordinating event logistics.
Supervise event set-up and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to align staff on service flow, attire, and guest expectations.
Manage the guest experiencegreeting, seating, and ensuring quality service throughout the event.
Oversee service flow to guarantee timely food service and prompt response to guest needs.
Coordinate event logistics and maintain strongmunication with the Chef, kitchen team, and external vendors.
Manage staffing needs for all full-service events.
Guide and assign staff to uphold high service standards throughout the event.
Complete all post-event duties, including breakdown, staff check-out, and final paperwork.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in catering, banquets, or hospitality management required.
Proven leadership and excellentmunication skills.
Ability to stayanized and efficient under pressure.
Detail-oriented with a strongmitment to outstanding service.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
