Trout Farm Inn ~ Felton, CA is a destination resort style restaurant, craft beer & cocktail bar, with a year-round heated saltwater swimming pool, located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.
We are open for lunch and dinner from 11:30am-9pm daily. Our menu features American Bistro style elevated comfort food, carefully crafted signature cocktails, regional wines, craft beer, cider, and kombucha. Brunch is served from 10am-2pm on the weekends.
Our roadside coffee and ice cream kiosk has been open for about a year and the "Inn" which is currently rented month-to-month, will be resurrected, allowing for a unique mountainside hospitality experience.

We are independently owned and operated and we are looking for a General Manager to help us take Trout Farm Inn to the next level!
The General Manager position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business and growing our brand. You will lead our dedicated team of employees and ensure an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for the restaurant's daily operations with an emphasis on delivering excellence in all areas of service, hospitality, food, and beverage. You must have a passion for customer service and proven ability to lead restaurant teams. Operational expertise and experience with budget management are crucial to this role.
This is a full-time position. that requires a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee day-to-day operations
Handle budget administration and preparation, including forecasting, profit and loss accountability, cost control, and inventories
Initiate marketing and brand promotions
Provide superior service and customer care
Respond to customers' complaints in an efficient manner with sensitivity and care
Manage the performance of team members and provide feedback to improve productivity
Interview, select, and train employees
Ensure compliance with established safety and health policies and procedures
Research new vendors and regularly review product quality
Estimate future supply needs

Work all major holidays
On call for emergencies
Staff scheduling
Liquor/Food/Labor cost management
Creative marketing for targeted growth
Staff training
Oversight of entire staff
Floor management
Backfill for any positions necessary

Coordinating special events
Provide floating support for our "sister" companies
