We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our opening team in Oxnard, California. Inspired by the bold flavors of Mexico, Spain, and the Caribbean, we are a modern Latin fire-driven dining experience focused on exceptional food, genuine hospitality, operational excellence, and creating memorable guest experiences.

We are looking for a highly organized, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to balance people, profitability, and hospitality. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing labor costs, financial reporting, and administrative responsibilities as they are engaging with guests, developing team members, and leading service on the floor.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Build, train, and develop front-of-house management and hourly team members
  • Foster a positive, professional, and accountable culture
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns effectively
  • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and staffing levels
  • Oversee payroll processing and labor reporting
  • Monitor restaurant financial performance and key operating metrics
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure smooth service execution
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and ongoing staff development
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
  • Maintain restaurant standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation
  • Assist with special events, promotions, community outreach, and marketing initiatives
  • Partner with ownership and department heads on strategic initiatives and business growth
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to manage labor, payroll, and restaurant financials
  • Experience with scheduling, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Understanding of Latin cuisine, culture, and hospitality is a plus
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using Toast POS
  • Experience using OpenTable
  • Experience using 7shifts scheduling software
  • Experience with payroll systems and reporting tools

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $90,000.00)
