Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant functions, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the food service industry, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and bar operations. The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team environment to deliver memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
  • Supervise kitchen management, food safety protocols, and inventory control to optimize food quality and minimize waste
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
  • Lead shift management to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a skilled team
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed
  • Implement training programs focused on food handling, culinary techniques, hospitality management, and food safety standards

Skills

  • Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
  • Strong leadership with experience in team management, supervising staff, and staff training & development
  • Extensive knowledge of food industry operations including food production, catering, bar services, and kitchen management
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS; cash handling expertise
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to manage inventory control effectively and oversee food safety compliance
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis within a restaurant setting
  • Skilled in managing shift operations efficiently under pressure during busy hours
  • Culinary experience or fine dining background is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead team meetings effectively
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards in the food industry
Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $150,000.00)
