About One of Us One of Us is San Diego's first bar dedicated to women's sportsbuilt on community, inclusivity, and an elevated watch party experience. We're not your typical sports bar. About the Role We're looking for a Kitchen Lead to anchor our back-of-house operationssomeone who leads by example, keeps the line running clean and fast, and builds the systems that make consistency possible shift after shift. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own prep and service, manage food costs and inventory, and create repeatable workflows that the whole team can follow. What You'll Do Lead kitchen operations during service with precision, speed, and consistency Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Build and refine repeatable systems for prep, service, and workflow Manage inventory counts, ordering, and vendor relationships Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold standards Ensure consistent execution of all menu items across every shift Coordinate with the bar team to sync pacing on high-volume game days Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards per San Diego County health codes What We're Looking For Solid pizza kitchen experience with at least six months in a lead or supervisory capacity Experience with inventory management and food cost control Ability to own the kitchen and lead a team under pressure ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety knowledge Highly organized, clean, and systems-driven Calm and decisive when it gets busy Positive, team-first attitude (no egos) Available evenings, weekends, and game-day events Why Join One of Us Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to help build and shape the kitchen program from the ground up Be part of a first-of-its-kind concept in San Diego Work with a passionate, supportive team Real opportunity for growth as we expand How to Apply Send your resume and a quick note about your experience and leadership style to ... .
