Position Summary:
The Beverage Manager is responsible for leading the efficient and effective service of our beverage program, ensuring it generates revenue and profits. In this role, you'll provide guests with friendly and professional service, excellent food quality, strong price value, and consistency of execution in an attractive, well-maintained environment. Create and develop an annual marketing plan to penetrate new sales opportunities and improve use within existing markets. Further responsibilities include staff development objectives and meeting financial goals.
The Specifics:
- Develop a selection and pricing strategy of all liquors and wines, and supervision of their procurement.
- Interview, hire, and train partners; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and coach partners; address complaints and problem solve.
- Help fill any open positions with applicants who are qualified and understand the guidelines required of them.
- Participate in and facilitate new bartender and barback training programs as well as ongoing development programs.
- Evaluate bar service performance daily.
- Facilitate quarterly check-ins with partners.
- Participate in helping the General Manager create the financial objectives of the bar on an annual basis through the budget process.
- Help meet budget in all areas of cost control with consistent focus on cost of sales and payroll.

Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience supervising a bar program.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification
- An advanced education or certification in beverage studies or in-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixology and you're up to date on current industry trends.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Hardworking, passionate creator of guest experiences, highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to take initiative.
Compensation: Salary ($100,000.00 - $110,000.00)
