We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our Washington DC location.
Responsibilities- Serve as the FOH leader for Vin Sur Vingt, upholding high levels of hospitality and service
- Coordinate FOH and BOH restaurant operations alongside the Head Chef
- Respond efficiently and professionally to guest feedback
- Train and mentor new and existing employees on service standards and hospitality culture
- Implement operational policies and protocols to improve restaurant performance
- Organize staff schedules and supervise service shifts
- Conduct inventory and oversee ordering controls
- Uphold Department of Health and safety regulations
- Build and maintain positive working relationships by promoting teamwork throughout the restaurant
- Prepare weekly payroll for FOH employees
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation
- Maintain strong communication with kitchen leadership and line staff during service
- Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and uphold brand standards
- Drive guest retention, team morale, and overall dining experience
- Independent, self-motivated leader with strong operational awareness
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and delegation abilities
- 3+ years experience as an F&B Manager or General Manager in a high-volume restaurant
- Upscale casual or fine dining experience preferred
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Wine knowledge strongly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software
- Experience using scheduling platforms such as 7Shifts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and hospitality-focused
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service standards
