Marination is searching for an energetic, guest-obsessed General Manager to lead our Columbia City location. This role is the heartbeat of the restaurant you'll be right in the mix, supporting our BOH line, FOH team, and bar to deliver the everyday aloha our guests know and love. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, light up when you make someone's day, and know how to bring out the best in a team, we want to meet you.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRoll up your sleeves and fill in across BOH, FOH, and the bar wherever the team needs you most, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Set the tone for a warm, upbeat atmosphere your energy sets the standard for how Marinators treat every single guest.Recruit, develop, and train your team so they have the skills, equipment, and confidence to deliver exceptional experiences every shift.Ensure every dish and drink coming out of the kitchen and bar meets Marination's recipes, portioning, and quality standards every time.Build smart schedules that keep all positions covered, labor costs in check, and your team energized.Partner with ownership and leadership to review financials, inventory, and HR matters regularly and bring ideas to grow the business year-round.This highlights the most critical responsibilities but isn't all-inclusive additional duties may apply.QUALIFICATIONSA genuine love for customer service and hospitality you make people feel welcome just by walking into the room.2+ years of experience as a GM or comparable management role in a high-volume restaurant (BOH, FOH, and bar familiarity a big plus).A calm, positive leadership style that keeps the team motivated even during the busiest rushes.Proven organizational chops from scheduling and admin tasks to timely, clear communication.Ability to collaborate and strategize with co-managers and ownership to drive the business forward.Flexibility to work evenings and weekendsAbility to stand for 8+ hour shifts and lift 50 pounds.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSBase salary $73K+Quarterly & yearly bonus program100% paid medical, dental, vision & life insurancePaid vacationFree parking
