The mammoth 12,000Sq.ft. / 300 seat Modern American Restaurant is embellished in the heart of the prestigious Plaza 10 office tower. While featuring multiple indoor and outdoor dining options, the entire establishment boasts unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline across the historic Hudson River.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Beverage Manager located in Jersey City, NJ. The Beverage Manager will oversee the beverage program at Hudson, including menu development, purchasing, inventory management, and staff training. The Beverage Manager will also work together with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
The Beverage Manager will be responsible for all menu creation, establishing relationships and securing best pricing from vendors and organizing all training materials and agendas in collaboration with BOH and FOH management teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Food & Beverage knowledge
Experience in customer service in a restaurant setting
Training experience, including developing and delivering comprehensive training plans
Sales experience with a proven track record
Budgeting experience and financial acumen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership consistent with company standards and hospitality to our team
Strong organizational skills
Experience with restaurant software and technology is a plus
Experience with event management and planning is a plus
3+ years of experience in beverage management or similar role
Certification in beer, wine or spirits knowledge is a plus
