General Manager - Bar Launch & Operations Expert

About Us:We re gearing up to launch a new bar & food cart pod concept in the Hollywood Neighborhood that combines a fast-casual vibe with classic drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. Our spot will have 9 different food carts & seating for over 200 people. This is a unique opportunity to join our team at the ground level & play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our space. We are looking for an experienced General Manager, ideally with a proven track record of opening successful bars or restaurants. Your expertise, strategic thinking & hands-on leadership will ensure our opening & operations are executed flawlessly.Position Overview:The General Manager will take the lead in the critical pre-opening phase, helping to establish & implement all aspects of the bar s operations, from menu planning & employee procedures to vendor relationships & operational workflows. Post-opening, you will oversee daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and profitability. Pre-Opening Responsibilities:Develop & implement operational systemsCreate a well-balanced drink menuRecruit, hire, & train staff to create a cohesive teamOversee the physical setup of the bar & source inventory with vendorsPost-Opening Responsibilities:Lead daily operations, including employee managementEnsure the bar consistently delivers exceptional customer experiencesMonitor sales performance & oversee inventory managementDrive innovation & adapt to feedback to refine operations & menu offeringsTake initiative as the primary problem-solver for any operational challenges.Manage food cart leasesQualifications:5+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the bar or hospitality industryStrong, proactive leadership & team-building skillsExpertise in menu planning, vendor negotiations, & inventory managementToast POS experience a plusA strong work ethic, attention to detail, exceptional multitasking & problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of local liquor laws, health regulations, & compliance requirementsFamiliarity with marketing & promotional strategies is a plusWhat We Offer:$64,000-74,000/year based on experienceQuarterly bonusesCompetitive PTO$5,000/year health care contributionHow to Apply:If you re a hard-working, innovative problem-solver with a passion for creating successful bars, we would love to hear from you.
