We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to join our leadership team at Moxy South Beach. Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Operations plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, cultivating a high-performing team culture, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all departments. This leader will help shape the daily rhythm of the hotel while delivering results in service, quality, associate engagement, and financial performance. What You'll Do As Director of Operations, you will: Support and lead hotel operations to achieve or exceed guest satisfaction, brand standards, and financial goals Partner with department leaders to drive performance, productivity, and service excellence across all operational areas Assist in labor planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls aligned with business needs Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure guestrooms and public spaces consistently meet brand standards Monitor guest feedback channels and support service recovery and reputation management efforts Partner closely with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, associate development, performance management, and engagement initiatives Lead daily operational meetings and communicate key business metrics, guest scores, and priorities Support annual operating, expense, and capital planning processes Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to ensure operational efficiency and compliance Foster a collaborative, service-driven culture while mentoring and developing future leaders What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will bring: Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hotel operations, preferably in a 200+ room property Prior management experience in Rooms Operations or Housekeeping strongly preferred Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment Experience with budgeting, forecasting, payroll, inventory controls, and operational reporting Strong knowledge of hotel systems, PMS, and financial controls Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills A hands-on leadership style with a focus on accountability, team development, and guest satisfaction Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Why Join Us At Moxy Hotels, we believe great hospitality starts with great people.
