About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris the Hotel Manager reports directly to the Managing Director, whom they support on a daily basis and replace in their absence, they are responsible for coordinating all hotel operations, including accommodation, food and beverage services, technical maintenance, the spa, as well as quality and safety management.
As Hotel Manageryou will be responsible forthe following duties:
- Supervising the departments under your responsibility in line with the highest standards of luxury.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the teams, promoting collaboration and high performance.
- Being the guarantor of service quality and the guest experience, closely aligned with our brand image.
- Supporting department heads in managing their teams, developing their skills, and keeping them motivated.
- Actively contributing to the development of the property's operational and financial strategies.
- Promoting a respectful and ethical working environment that encourages employee growth and fulfillment.
- Representing the values of Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris with elegance and exemplary conducting, both to our guests and our teams.
As Hotel Manager we expect from you:
Proven experience as an Hotel Manager in a luxury establishment (palace or 5-star hotel)
Natural leadership, attention to detail, high standards, and expertise in providing ultra-personalized service.
Strong organizational skills, priority management, strategic vision, and ability to anticipate needs.
Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills.
Fluent in both French and English, both written and spoken.
Solid knowledge of office tools and hospitality industry software.
