TITLE: General Manager, Entertainment Venue

COMPENSATION: ~$80-90,000 base salary + quarterly performance bonus

LOCATIONS: Hiring 1 General Manager in Austin TX, 1 General Manager in San Antonio TX

 

SUMMARY:

As the General Manager (Restaurant Entertainment Venue), you'll be the driving force behind the performance and culture of a high-volume, experiential dining destination. You’ll lead daily operations with a sharp focus on hospitality excellence, team development, financial performance, and operational integrity. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct all aspects of daily venue operations, ensuring service, culinary, and experiential elements meet brand and guest expectations.

  • Champion a customer-first culture, raise the bar on guest experience, and build loyalty.

  • Lead floor operations during peak service periods, modeling presence-driven leadership and coaching staff in real-time.

  • Uphold rigorous cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards across FOH & BOH.

  • Collaborate closely with culinary / service leadership to maintain F&B quality.

  • Develop & mentor high-performing teams, with focus on succession and cross-training.

  • Maintain full P&L accountability, using data to guide decisions on efficiency.

  • Create and execute sales-building strategies, and upsell initiatives.

  • Forecast and manage scheduling, ordering, and inventory systems.

  • Partner with leadership on staffing plans and compliance initiatives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years' management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

  • Prior experience in an entertainment venue (theater, bowling, games, etc.) highly preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Working knowledge of labor compliance, liquor laws and health regulations.

  • Strong command of financial performance management.

  • Technologically proficient with scheduling systems, POS back-office tools, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based communication platforms.
