BANQUET CAPTAIN As a Banquet Captain, you'll play a key role in delivering smooth, successful events for our guests. This position involves overseeing banquet staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that each event, from setup to breakdown, meets our high standards for service and guest satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead banquet event setup, service, and breakdown in coordination with event requirements Direct and support servers, bartenders, and support staff during events Maintain a professional, guest-focused atmosphere throughout all events Address and resolve any guest or service concerns in a timely and courteous manner Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all banquet areas before and after events Assist with training and mentoring banquet staff as needed Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Associate's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred. Prior banquet, event service, or hospitality experience required; leadership experience preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Job Type: FT/PT Salary: $27 per hour Restaurant type Casual dining restaurant Fine dining restaurant
