Help
Establishes and maintains operion standards directed towards accomplishing the basic mission of the activities, prepares operion budget for review, ensures food and beverage services, facilities, and equipment are in good repair, supplies are of good quality, properly programmed, marketed and advertised, properly priced for resale or consumption and are oriented towards pron sisfaction.
Responsible through subordine managers for the accountability and internal controls for receipts, property and monies the local level. Responsible for ensuring proper training, supervision and scheduling of staff through subordine supervisors. Evalues work performance of management staff, adjusts management schedules as needed and coordines personnel actions for the assigned food and beverage operion. Resolves or recommends solutions to problems.
Coordines functions/events requiring food and beverage service within the site. Coordines with Facility Operions Manager to ensure requirements for the occasion are met which include suitable types of services, menus, beverage items and prices to be charged; coordines with approprie staff and other food service personnel to arrange details such as printing of menus, procurement of decorions, approprie entertainment, proper advertising/marketing, and signing of contracts
Through subordine managers, and under direct supervision of the CNRSW Regional Food & Beverage Manager, plans and projects operions and improvements through regular analysis of financial assets and liabilities of the department. Responsible for ensuring th maintenance and repair work is accomplished for all equipment installed and loced in various buildings within the Food & Beverage Department.
Analyzes financial da, reviews budget and submits reports and recommendions to the Food & Beverage Manager. Develops and submits budget criteria to the CNRSW Regional Food & Beverage Manager. Performs continuous analysis of cost and sales operions to determine profit and loss. Assures all items identified by food and beverage personnel have been submitted to the procurement office in a timely manner. Determines urgent requirements and inities follow-up action through the Purchasing Manager when there is a delay in receipt of orders. Ensures th monthly and annual inventories for food and bar facilities and property are conducted, as are special inventories to monitor other operions. Through subordine managers is responsible for the coordinion of all source da to the CNRSW MWR Accounting Department, enabling accounting to compile and report fund stus, operional stements, and detailed ledger informion.
Reviews official and unofficial site correspondence pertaining to the Food and Beverage Department. Holds meetings to coordine details of the Food & Beverage Department. Attends conferences and meetings in relion to Food & Beverage Department mters other locions as required by the CNRSW Regional Food & Beverage Manager.
Maintains communicion with the MWR Site Manager and the CNRSW Food & Beverage Manager ensuring appraisal of important developments within the Food & Beverage Department. Conducts thorough and comprehensive studies of policies, opering procedures and standards th should be established and makes recommendions to the CNRSW Food & Beverage Manager Through subordine managers is responsible for providing programming to enhance sales and meet customer sisfaction. Responsible for planning, developing, coordining and implementing a comprehensive publicity/advertising and sales marketing program which includes, but not limited to, ongoing sales programs designed to solicit eligible users and increase sales and profits the Food & Beverage Department.
Carries out EEO policies and communices support of these policies to subordines. Assures quality in determining selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, qualificions, discipline and awards to employees.
Ensures compliance with fire, safety, sanition and security regulions.

Qualificions
A four-year degree in Food & Beverage Management or Business Administrion or four years equivalent experience th includes specialized training in a variety of food and beverage service facilities, programming, marketing, cering and banquet operions
At least one year of specialized experience managing a food and beverage operion th includes programming, marketing, cering and banquet operions
The incumbent must possess a detailed knowledge of the goals, principles and techniques of a food and beverage service operion. Reled educion or experience in personnel management and advertising is required. Must be able to make favorable personnel contacts with all levels of management personnel, command officials, and department employees.
Extensive experience in a supervisory capacity and/or business environment requiring in-depth knowledge in all phases of a food and beverage operion including entertainment and programming. Must have extensive background in budgeting, financial management and planning. Must be able to travel, other facilities, appraise different services and evalue similarities and differences according to their respective missions as they reled to our services.
Must be a positive leader, able to influence the actions of others in obtaining cooperion and assistance to meet the CNRSW mission and vision. Must be fully experienced in dealing and communicing with others; must have abilities to negotie, settle disputes; obtains and maintains good relions. Must be able to present and sell initial ideas, plans and programs for approval of the CNRSW Food & Beverage Manager.
