Food and Beverage Manager

The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is looking for a Food andBeverage Manager to help our team provide excellent service to ourguests. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in one ofUniontown's finest locations. The Food and Beverage Manager willlead the management and direction of the restaurant and banquetoperations in accordance with established guest service and HiltonBrand standards. Who we are: The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is abusy hotel, proudly serving visitors to Uniontown for almost 10years. We have a restaurant, bar, and banquet space to serve guestsand group needs. The hotel is managed by Prospera Hospitality, aproud Pittsburgh based hotel management company with over 20 yearsof experience managing hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.What you'll do: - Interview, select, train, schedule, coach andsupport associates, ensuring they perform in accordance withestablished brand or hotel standards and consistent with Hiltoncore values. - Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing,and prepared to guest specifications. - Interact with guests toobtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet andbanquet facilities. - Ensure that the food service complies withsanitation and safety standards for guests and associates. - Placeorders for food, alcohol, and kitchen supplies and take inventoryof items. - Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with otherdepartment leaders to resolve service delivery or qualitybreakdowns. - Work closely with Sales Manager and Clients toschedule menus, times and facilitate Banquet events. - Abide by allstate, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to servingalcoholic beverages. - Oversee serving staff to ensure properliquor controls are in place and all cash handling policies andprocedures are followed. Comply with all accounting policies. -Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants and banquets,create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends, andassist in preparation of specials. The work schedule will vary fromweek to week and may include working on holidays, weekends, andalternate shifts.
