Job DetailsREVE, a Michelin recognized French bistro in Lafayette is looking for an assistant FOH manager. Someone looking for 3-4 nights will also be considered. Friday / Saturday nights are a must.
You will be a visible presence on the floor during service, assisting staff with service ensuring a smooth and successful night, handling any and all FOH glitches that may arise (power outages, trip and fall, angry guests).
You will have a passion for customer service, helping maintain our OT 4.8-4.9 scores and Michelin recognition status.
The right person will be able to lead but also be willing to assist any front of the house positions including host, bartender, server or busser. Knowledge of French culture, food and wine is desired. Michelin experience preferred. Strong restaurant service experiennnce (lead server / trainer) with a willingness and ability to learn is key. Staff management for FOH (hiring, training, dicipline, incentives) as well as office work required. Proficient in word & excell.
Have a working knowledge of: OpenTable / BinWise / TouchBistro (or be willing to do training programs)
At REVE you have a schedule that values work / life balance. Sunday & Monday off. Typical hours will be 2 9 Tuesday Thursday & 2 -10 on Friday & Saturday. We close for 2 weeks every July, and after 1 year, both weeks will be paid. Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & New Years Day. 401K with 4% match after 1 year.
We do not offer paid medical benefits. Hourly is DOE.
A person with a side job will be considered as long as it does not compete, interfere or influence your position and decisions at REVE.
Additional requirements:

About our chef / owner team: With over 30 years of experience in Michelin star rated restaurants and luxury hotels Chef Paul has mastered all of the skills required for any kitchen task. He is willing to teach, and pass on those skills for any professional who is willing to learn and join our team at REVE. Laura runs the front of the house including all HR, marketing, budgeting and nightly service. A lifelong learner and former Ritz Carlton employee of 21 years, service is key.
