Qualifications:

Previous Housekeeping preferred, but not needed

Ability to understand and follow directions

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work with little or no supervision meeting brand standards

Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility

Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating all facets of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department within the hotel

Ensure high levels of guest service and satisfaction with cleanliness and comfort of guest facilities

Assists in the maintenance of cost control system for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies

Inspects guest rooms by visually viewing rooms and documenting discrepancies on a daily / weekly basis to ensure standards are met

Assists, on an as needed basis, other departments by scheduling work projects and accomplishing cleaning of property
