What We're Looking ForWere looking for a hands-on, high-energy leader with experience running front-of-house operations in a busy restaurant or taproom setting. You understand what it takes to deliver consistent, high-quality service, especially in a seasonal environment, and you know how to lead and motivate a team to bring their best every day. Youre solutions-minded, comfortable wearing many hats, and genuinely excited about building something with heart and hospitality at its core.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Culture
Recruit, hire, and onboard FOH team members
Train staff on food, beverage, and service standards
Manage scheduling and labor while staying within budget
Coach and support staff performance and morale
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where people enjoy showing up to work
Operations & Administration
Ensure all B1C and Harpoon SOPs are followed
Assist with inventory, retail coordination, and merchandising
Open and close the restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations
Support ordering, receiving, and processing of product
Work with the GM on financial documentation, inventory counts, and reporting
Contribute to event support and volume planning during peak seasons
Guest Experience
Lead by example and maintain high guest service standards
Be a visible, engaging leader on the floor
Resolve guest issues with professionalism and care
Promote beer knowledge and create memorable experiences
Represent the Harpoon and B1C brands with pride and authenticity
Health, Safety & Compliance
Maintain ServSafe and liquor certifications
Ensure the team is trained on food safety and compliance protocols
Promote a clean, safe, and organized environment for both guests and staff
2+ years of experience in restaurant, brewery, or bar management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Passion for hospitality, community, and craft beer
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and be on your feet for long shifts
