Housekeeping Supervisor III Summary:This position will facilitate the day to day cleaning of all buildings on the property by providing training for work crew housekeepers and their supervisors (work crew bosses), monitoring cleanliness throughout camp buildings and maintaining the stock of cleaning supplies and paper supplies. A housekeeping supervisor III serves at a camp with more than 50,000 camper/leader days, and the camp operates year-round. Rentals during the school year season require camp owned bed linens.

Job Specific Working Conditions:
WFR is looking for a HK Supervisor III who will be a trusted leader in the department with expertise in housekeeping.
Throughout the school season (October - April) they will lead the Housekeeping team operations primarily focused on one of our two camps, but also including staff housing, volunteer housing and construction housing.
In the summer months (May - September), they will support both camps and the overall management of the department. This job requires a strong sense of stewardship, high attention to detail, the ability to hold others accountable in execution of tasks and directing the team in all department responsibilities.
The HK Supervisor sets the tone for department culture, training & leading interns, overseeing the cleaning and care of buildings on camp and supporting the team. They are able to lead others with spiritual maturity, emotional intelligence and engaging a culture of hospitality, while also being a bridge-builder to partner with other departments to improve the overall guest experience.

Job Specific Working Conditions:
Washington Family Ranch is a very remote property (located one hour from the closest grocery store) with a large dedicated staff that results in approximately 120 people living year round at camp. This creates a unique and spiritually rewarding environment of Christian work and fellowship. There are two camps located here: a high school focused camp (Canyon) and a middle school camp (Creekside). Affordable housing is available on property.
