Job Description:

As an IT Manager, youll play a key role in driving innovation and operational excellence by implementing new technologies and optimizing system processes. Youll serve as both a hands-on technical lead and a strategic partner, helping to evolve and support the systems that power some of the most loved restaurants in Ohio (and soon: beyond). Your work will directly enhance the guest experience and support our vision of sharing joy, delicious food and operating restaurants of distinctively high quality. From point-of-sale and digital ordering systems to data integration and operational software, you will be the primary point of contact for internal and external teams. The right candidate will be resourceful, have exceptional potential, take ownership of their work and be motivated to make our organization better, in ways big and small.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own and provide hands-on support for a variety of IT-related projects across our restaurants including POS, networking, mobile ordering, digital platforms, tech upgrades, and new location launches, with the ability to shift between urgent fixes and long-term improvements.
  • Lead, coach and develop a small internal team of IT professionals, including selecting and supervising outside service providers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal tech needs, ensuring clear and responsive communication at all times, such as project outlines, status updates, post-project evaluations, etc.
  • Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Maintain a close connection to the guest and team experience and ensure our digital ordering platforms and website are intuitive, efficient, satisfying, reliable, and continuously improving.
  • Apply technical knowledge to bridge the gap between operations teams and IT vendorse.g., understanding POS integrations, mobile ordering platforms, Wi-Fi infrastructure and operational software; document processes and strive to improve the IT knowledge of those around you.
  • This role is part of a small but mighty team supporting our restaurants, which means being available to help when neededincluding evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably within hospitality or restaurants
  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred; PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are a plus
  • Familiarity with restaurant technologies such as POS systems (e.g., Toast, Micros/Simphony), inventory systems, data security and digital ordering
  • Working knowledge of IT principles, infrastructure, and software implementations
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across departments
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., TeamGantt)
  • Service-minded and hospitality-aware: you understand the pace of restaurant operations and the importance of the guest and team experience
  • Tech-savvy problem solver: able to implement systems that make day-to-day operations smoother
  • Cool under pressure and agile in dynamic environments
  • Comfortable working on-site at our support office or restaurants and collaborating with both service and culinary teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support urgent IT needs, restaurant growth initiatives and foster outside vendor relationships
  • A valid drivers license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel between locations as needed and transport light materials or supplies
