Chevy Chase Club is a traditional full service private country club open 365 days a year.

Now Hiring: Special Events Coordinator
Chevy Chase Club | Chevy Chase, MD
Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $23-$26
Start Date: ASAP

Chevy Chase Club is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Special Events Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to our Special Events Department. While some planning is involved, this role focuses primarily on behind-the-scenes logistics, communications, and documentation that ensure our events run seamlessly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage event reservations and maintain accurate seating arrangements
  • Prepare and send event contracts
  • Track event billing and assist with budget management
  • Handle updates and communicate changes across departments and with members
  • Create and maintain Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floorplans, and event documentation
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact for member event inquiries
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure event details are executed accurately
  • Maintain timely, professional, and clear communication throughout the event process
Qualifications:
  • Prior administrative or event coordination experience preferred (hospitality experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptionally organized, accurate, and adaptable under pressure
  • Office Hours, with occasional weekends or evenings as needed
