The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality standards, and leading staff to achieve operational and financial goals. This role helps manage employees, monitors inventory, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
  • Help schedule employees and monitor labor costs.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Support cash handling procedures, daily deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
