Position: Restaurant Manager
Seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to support the owners in driving daily operations for our awarding winning restaurant and brewery. LazyG Brewhouse in historic downtown Prescott, Arizona is locally owned and operated. Our mission is to consistently produce the highest quality craft beer and food, and to always deliver memorable guest experiences.
Our Restaurant Manager must be a hospitality driven individual with a strong work ethic. Willingness to work closely with staff and interact with guests daily. Lead by example and provide coaching and mentoring of staff to include staff training, supervision and provide a high level of guest service. With an emphasis on front of house staff, will also work closely with back of house staff to ensure a cohesive teamwork.
The position is hands-on to oversee restaurant service and ensures a high level of guest service with acute attention to detail. Assists with staffing needs, scheduling, maintaining health and safety standards to ensure profitable and efficient guest experience. A passion for hospitality, a service-minded ethic and knowledgeable in craft beer are very important.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to opening and closing the restaurant, assisting with training staff, resolving customer questions professionally, ensuring the restaurant follows health and safety guidelines, verifying end of shift reports and cash handling, ability to work a flexible schedule and other managerial duties as required.
Requirements: Previous supervisory experience within a restaurant, strong leadership skills with the capacity for development, ability to resolve guest concerns and staff conflicts in a professional manner, innovation and trustworthiness, ability to work in a flexible schedule and ability to work during all operating hours, as well as evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to be highly proficient with our POS system along with other technology-based apps.
This is a full-time salaried position. Benefits include uniform allowance, health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, employee discounts. Salary will be at the level of Restaurant Manager and determined based on qualifications and previous experience. Compensation and bonus is reviewed annually.
