Requested Tasks

  • Oversee the operations of all assigned property experiences
  • Set standards and expectations related to how all F+B experiences will be run and maintained; ensure that leaders are fully understanding of all expectations and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and uphold all expectations for service standards that are to be followed by all team members
  • Demonstrate and uphold company time and attendance policies
  • Demonstrate and uphold all appearance standards as a leader, and for each of your experiences, including appropriate uniforms items are worn and are clean and wrinkle-free, and that proper hygiene and grooming standards are met during each shift, for all team members
  • Hire, train, mentor and manage team members and department leaders
  • Ensure consistent and transparent communication through regular meetings
  • Work closely with leaders to determine areas of opportunity and how to effectively remedy issues
  • Develop and manage Food + Beverage budget; strategically monitor costs related to inventory, sales, and payroll
  • Develop strategies to improve profits and explore new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Banquet teams to thoroughly understand upcoming needs and commitments
  • Understand and stay current with trends in the F+B industry
  • Ongoing oversight of all experiences to ensure safety, inventory and compliance
  • Follow and promote all health and safety regulations
  • Work closely with the property leadership teams
  • Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
  • Additional duties and assignments as assigned

Requested Capabilities

  • Previous experience as a Director of Food + Beverage required
  • Demonstrates a guest-first mentality; professional, personable, and genuinely hospitable
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Proven leadership development experience preferred; able to inspire, coach, and mentor future leaders
  • Experienced in budget management across multiple outlets or departments
  • Adept at identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and guest experience
  • Combines a strategic and operational mindset to recognize and act on opportunities across all areas of the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Committed to upholding all Makeready and property policies and procedures
