Busy Bee in Rochester is seeking an experienced Manager to help run day to day operations. Great hours as we are open from 7am til 2pm, 7 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Manage POS systems such Clover for accurate order processing and cash handling
Train, develop, and motivate team members through effective onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and oversee kitchen management to optimize workflow
Implement food production standards for casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet services as applicable
Conduct interviews for hiring new staff and participate in staff training & development initiatives
Monitor restaurant performance metrics and prepare reports to support operational improvements
Requirements:
Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervising responsibilities
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food handling safety protocols
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management or restaurant management roles
Ability to train staff effectively in food safety standards, kitchen management, and service excellence
Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during shifts
Knowledge of catering, bar operations, coffee or barista experience is a plus
