Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations across any of the five outlets within the hotel. This role also manages total hotel beverage ordering and inventory. The Supervisor ensures that all guest needs are met by leading a cohesive team, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting management in various operational and employee-related functions. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff; address and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing doors.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and proper use of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method.
  • Complete scheduled inventories; stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being. Implement on the floor mentality and speaking to every single guest in the restaurant.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Support co-workers and treat all team members with dignity and respect.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve common team goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as required.
  • Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
