Garage Grill Draper is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager – Front of House to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about Guest Service, Team Development, and Operational Excellence.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an outstanding experience for both guests and team members.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, service, quality, and profitability.
• Ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback to support employee growth and development.
• Maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring service excellence.
• Monitoring sales, labor, and expenses to achieve financial goals.
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and overall guest experience.
• Reviewing labor and tip reports weekly to ensure accuracy and timely payroll submission.
• Ensuring all staff remain compliant with required certifications, licensing, and safety standards.
• Staying informed on hospitality and restaurant industry trends and implementing ideas that enhance the guest experience and improve operations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a full-service restaurant environment, including beer, wine, and spirits service.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop successful teams.
• Strong understanding of labor management, cost controls, and restaurant operations.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience (negotiable)
