Were looking for a General Manager who can lead both the front and back of house while helping us build a world-class operation from the inside out. This role is for someone who can lead with accountability, communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and make sure the train never comes off the tracks.
You are the person making sure the deli opens on time, runs correctly, the team stays aligned, the guests are taken care of, and the culture stays strong.
This is not a sit-in-the-office management role.
You will lead from the floor.
- Build and maintain a strong, positive, accountable team culture
- Hire, train, coach, and develop front and back of house staff
- Lead by example through work ethic, attitude, professionalism, and consistency

- Ensure the deli operates smoothly, efficiently, and consistently at all times
- Oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Troubleshoot problems quickly and calmly
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, food safety, and operational standards
- Jump into any role necessary when needed, including covering shifts
- Ensure the restaurant is staffed appropriately and functioning properly day-to-day
- Train and develop shift leads and future leaders within the company
- Manage labor to align with budget goals
- Track and maintain accurate ordering and inventory systems
- Monitor food costs, labor costs, and operational efficiencies
- Participate in weekly meetings reviewing budgets, labor, performance, and operational KPIs
- Help improve systems, SOPs, and operational consistency
- Maintain strong communication with ownership regarding performance, issues, and solutions
- Working knowledge of Excel, Google Drive, and basic computer systems/software
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and guest communication
- Handle customer issues professionally and proactively
- Build relationships with regulars and create an experience people talk about
- Ensure food quality, speed, and consistency stay high at all times
- Previous General Manager, Assistant GM, hospitality, or restaurant leadership experience preferred
- Strong front-of-house and back-of-house operational knowledge
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable leading teams and holding accountability
- Systems-oriented mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Someone who works hard without needing constant oversight
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage when needed
- Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable running store/warehouse errands when necessary
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable being hands-on in a fast-paced environment
This role comes with real responsibility.
Youll have two days off most weeks, but if something breaks, someone calls out, or the deli needs support, youre the person who helps make sure the operation stays on course.
