Hotel General Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and improve profitability
Lead, motivate, and manage staff across various departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Maintain excellent guest relations, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and attract new business
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for staff
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a senior hospitality management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Sound financial and operational acumen
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
