Associates Degree, or certification of law enforcement training.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience, preferably in the field of law enforcement, and/or gaming regulation.

Equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered.

HOURS OF WORK:

1st 2nd and 3rd shifts

Sunday through Saturday

Rotating schedule days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Class Definition

The Casino Compliance Representative is responsible for performing specific casino compliance duties at the licensed gaming facility, including but not limited to, monitoring the casino's compliance with all the Rhode Island Lottery operating, control, and regulatory requirements, monitoring the casino's internal controls, and policies and procedures; and analyzing and recommending solutions to deter, prevent, and detect activities that could compromise the integrity of the casino.

The Casino Compliance Representative is responsible for performing specific casino compliance duties at the licensed gaming facility, including but not limited to, monitoring the casino's compliance with all the Rhode Island Lottery operating, control, and regulatory requirements, monitoring the casino's internal controls, and policies and procedures; and analyzing and recommending solutions to deter, prevent, and detect activities that could compromise the integrity of the casino.

Also, be advised that a new provision in RI General Law 35-6-1 was enacted requiring direct deposit for all employees. Specific to new hires, the law requires that all employees hired after September 30, 2014 participate in direct deposit. At the time the employee is hired, the employee shall identify a financial institution that will serve as a personal depository agency for the employee.
