In order to ensure accurate/timely productivity, sanitation, and safety guidelines are met. Assists manager(s) in a variety of responsibilities, as assigned. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid Oklahoma Food Handler's permit. Work Experience: 6 months to 1 year related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal communication skills. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Supervises assigned areas and personnel ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and filling in when needed to ensure accurate and timely productivity, meeting sanitation and safety guidelines. Assists manager(s) and/or other personnel as needed with a variety of responsibilities including: interviewing, performance evaluations, counselings, reporting, in-service classes, addressing department down time, safety issues, department problems, and takes appropriate corrective action. Trains and monitors staff in positive manner on hospital and department policies, safety, sanitation, computer use, and documentation. Communicates employee, equipment, and department needs to management. Supports management and peers by words/action. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Has input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give. Direct Supervision of others - No. of people supervised: (varies) Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
