The Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing exceptional events that exceed client expectations and create memorable guest experiences. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure seamless communication, flawless event execution, and outstanding customer satisfaction. The Event Planning Manager manages all aspects of event logistics, from initial planning through post-event follow-up. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to\:
Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the planning process
Conduct pre-planning meetings with confirmed clients
Develop detailed event orders, room diagrams, menus, and guestroom pick-up management
Collaborate closely with sales, culinary, banquets, audiovisual, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
Manage client expectations while proactively resolving issues and responding to requests
Ensure all event details, billing, and contractual obligations are accurate and completed on time
Build strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals
Maintain knowledge of current event trends, hospitality standards, and market competition
Support revenue goals by identifying upselling opportunities for food & beverage, guest rooms, and additional services

- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred
- Prefer two years hotel experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and in general computer knowledge
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment
