Job DetailsPart-Time Creative & Marketing Manager Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar | Chelsea, NYC (primary) + White Plains, NY
Shiraz Kitchen is a Persian-Mediterranean restaurant operating under the Define Hospitality philosophy, with locations in Chelsea (111 W 17th St) and White Plains (80 Mamaroneck Ave). The White Plains location holds a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and a New York Times "Very Good" rating. Both locations hold the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
Reporting to the Chef-Owner, the Creative & Marketing Manager drives awareness and revenue across both restaurants and our catering and private events business. This is a hands-on role for someone who can concept, design, write, and execute end to end. It is not a brief-to-agency role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Digital Marketing & Content
- Plan and produce content across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms for both locations, with a clear point of view per audience
- Concept, shoot, and edit photo, reels, statics, and carousel posts on-site at the restaurants
- Build and send email newsletters and catering outreach flows, applying email design best practices
- Maintain and update website content (Shopify), including menu pages, blog posts, landing pages, and seasonal campaigns
- Support photoshoots with moodboards, food styling concepts, and shot lists
- Brand & Design
- Hold the line on the brand's editorial tone, photography style, and typography across every touchpoint
- Design promotional collateral for in-restaurant use, including menu inserts, posters, table cards, and gift cards
- Stay current on hospitality and design trends and bring strong opinions on what fits our brand
- Catering & Private Events
- Build and run the marketing pipeline for corporate catering and private events
- Create sales-supporting collateral, pitch decks, and proposal templates
- Nurture leads through email and follow-up sequences
- Performance & Project Management
- Track campaign and content performance, then adjust based on what is actually working
- Manage timelines and deliverables across both locations
- Coordinate with the chef, GM, and operations team on launches, menu changes, and events
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of marketing and design experience, ideally in hospitality, food, or wine
- Strong portfolio across social, email, and web
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and CapCut or similar video tools
- Comfortable with Shopify, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics
- Sharp writing voice that can match our editorial tone, which is warm, direct, and free of fluff
- Eye for food and restaurant photography, with confidence shooting on iPhone during service without slowing the floor
- Available a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site, primarily at our Chelsea location, with occasional visits to White Plains for shoots and events. This is not a remote role.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
BONUS:

- Working knowledge of SEO, structured data, and schema basics

COMPENSATION: $25.00$30.00 hourly, based on experience
