Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a busy, customer-focused pub. This role works closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, strong team performance, and an excellent guest experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role where the ideal candidate will be actively involved in operations and comfortable stepping into different functions as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily pub operations and ensure high standards of guest service

* Support the General Manager in overall business operations and decision-making

* Assist with staff management, scheduling, onboarding, and training

* Step into operational roles as required to support service flow

* Monitor inventory and assist with basic cost control and ordering support

* Handle guest concerns and ensure strong customer satisfaction

* Help drive operational and financial performance goals

* Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

* Support ongoing improvements in service and efficiency
