Food and Beverage Manager Location: Marriott Anchorage Downtown Job Description

The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department in a restaurant or hotel. The manager will be responsible for managing the staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the financial performance of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the food and beverage department
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and products
  • Manage and train staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage financial performance by monitoring expenses and revenue
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
