Position: Food Service Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time / Exempt Shift Details: Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center; Columbus, OH Salary/Hourly Wage: $52,000 - $55,000/year Specialties / Licenses or Certifications: -Active and valid Food Handlers Certification required. Summary of Job: The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of food service activity within the program being supported. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Supervises activities of staff and/or other personnel including assignment of duties.
2. Guest Care & Advocacy:
   • Ensures that nutritionally adequate meals are provided in consultation with a Registered Dietician.
3. Cost Control:
   • Identifies food, equipment and supply needs.
   • Manages budget resources, as identified.
4. Compliance & Risk Management:
   • Oversees the daily activity of the food service unit, especially in the sanitation, safety, food preparation and presentation areas.
   • Maintains and establishes sanitation and safety standards.
   • Establishes a training program to enhance operational efficiency and a quality food service program.
   • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
   • Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
5. Additional Duties:
   • Performs other related duties as assigned.

1. Education/Licenses:
   • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
   • Active and valid Food Handlers Certification required.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum of one (1) year of experience cooking for large groups of people, thirty (30) plus, required.
   • Minimum of three (3) years of food service experience in a nursing home or similar setting preferred.
   • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
   • Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations.
3. Skills:
   • Strong Organization Skills.
   • Basic computer skills.
   • Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
4. Driving Requirements:
   • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
   • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
5. Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
   • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
   • Travel required based on business need.
   • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

Physical Demands : May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing/balancing on a step stool to reach supplies/equipment, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility where some hazardous conditions may exist.
