Summary:
The Market Senior Cering Sales Manager will build rapport with clients, qualify their needs, sell the approprie hotel to serve their needs, book the business in the Sales and Cering systems, and confirm the sale with contracts. They will prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will ensure th operions and event management has all the informion needed to adequely service the group. Participe in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-reled meetings as required. Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers. Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Interested candides must possess excellent written and oral communicion skills, a professional demeanor, and positive titude. This job will require mastery of the reactive and proactive sales process. This will include qualifying group leads and closing the business, finding new business through prospecting efforts, and growing current producing accounts. Candides should possess a 4-year degree in business or equivalent hotel experience with a minimum of 4 years of cering sales experience.
