Summary:
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Supervisor will provide oversight and management to the Food and Beverage outlets throughout the property. This position provides training, manages retention, and adheres to service and quality standards of all staff to ensure excellent service. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will assist with the creation of menu items and pricing by understanding guest needs and product availability while maximizing profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate team members' performance while also assist in hiring, training, encouraging teamwork, and setting a high level of customer service standards.
Ensures that outlets are sanitized, cleaned, stocked, and setup correctly at start of and throughout the shift while adhering to sanitation, safety, and food and beverage control policies.
Manage schedule to ensure adequate staffing to support occupancy.
Prepare reports as required, relating to procedures, efficiency, sales, etc.
Assist in monthly food and beverage inventories and reconciliations.
Ordering of food, beverage and necessary supplies to ensure outlet is properly prepared for business needs.
Responsible for understanding POS system, updating changes and training staff in its use.
Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons.
Obtain certifications to meet state and local government regulations.
Ensure strict cash controls by following specific KOA cash and credit card handling procedures.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, quality and cleanliness.
Familiar with fire extinguisher locations and know how to operate them in the restaurant/kitchen.
Ensures safe handling of chemicals in accordance with department standards and utilizes proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
Directed by GM/AGM, monitor and implement the department safety program, which ensures that all OAK employees work in a safe and hazard free environment that complies with various local, state, and federal safety requirements.

Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of progressive experience in a related field required
Hear and speak the English language fluently
Strong decision-making ability
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills with ability to manage confrontation
Ability to motivate, lead and develop a diverse team
Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
Comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Ability to read and maintain a budget
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver's license
Preferred Education and Experience:
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is performed primarily indoors.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, reach overhead.
Use of repetitive motion, standing, bending, sitting, lifting, and walking, carrying trays.
Significant standing and walking for entire shifts
Fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes crowded, often with exposure to extreme temperatures (kitchen heat or freezer cold).
Risk of burns from hot equipment, cuts from knives, and slips on wet or greasy floors; requires wearing PPE (slip-resistant shoes, gloves, masks)
Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
Will experience occasional interruptions and shifting priorities.
Valid driver's license required, this position may be expected to drive a motorized vehicle which requires close and distance vision, sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, etc.
