HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT in Crested Butte The Elk Mountain Lodge is seeking an experienced, energetic Innkeeper / Night Manager to join our team in Crested Butte. This is a lifestyle-focused position ideal for someone who wants a meaningful commitment in a vibrant mountain community. The optimal candidate will bring hospitality, food & beverage, and sales experience. Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills are a bonus but not required. Position type: Full-time during the busy season, part-time during the off-season. This role begins immediately and includes a generous off-season travel allowance of four weeks. Key responsibilities Be available for random nightly operations and provide exceptional guest service Coordinate food & beverage service and breakfast offerings Manage reservations, guest communications, and front desk duties Support light maintenance and facility upkeep (preferred skill) Drive sales and deliver a welcoming guest experience Benefits & compensation Private manager's suite located downtown Crested Butte with all utilities included Basic essentials provided: furniture, towels, laundry services, breakfast, and boarding necessities Competitive hourly ($25.00-$27.00)starting wage with seasonal bonuses and potential for salary for the right person Schedule designed to support daily outdoor recreation; shifts typically end or begin at 3:00 PM This position is perfect for someone who likes to work hard and play hard, who values community and guest-centered service, and who desires to live a mountain lifestyle.
