BASIC FUNCTION\:
The Assistant Retail and Concessions Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Food & Beverage Outlets, as well as other potential activations at the Lodge at Spruce Peak. They help train and motivate staff to provide exceptional service, maximize profitability and drive a positive culture rooted in the Core Values of Spruce Peak.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\:
Train line level Colleagues to ensure seamless & luxurious guest service.
Communicate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.
Ensure a welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops and side stations through floor presence, and ensuring operational readiness of all service periods
Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance and conduct of service team.
Monitoring and respond to customer experience opportunities in real time.
Coaching in the moment to Service Colleagues for both celebration and opportunities.
Maintains house bank and handles all cash according to Resort and departmental policies and procedures
Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
Takes restaurant reservations when needed for internal and external guests
Is knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Spruce Peak policies.

Rate\: $26.00 - $28.50 per hour
High School Diploma and o ne year of supervisory experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Basic computer skills including MS Office and Micros
Flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have or obtain a valid DLC certificate
Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day
Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 30 lbs.
