Summary

The Grand Hyatt Denver is currently seeking a Stewarding Supervisor. The Supervisor assists in the management of the daily operations of the Stewarding Department. The Stewarding Department is responsible for servicing the hotel inventory of glass, china, silver, and dishes, transporting banquet food from kitchen to designated areas, and maintaining back of house cleanliness and sanitation. This will include supervising staff, stocking supplies, monitoring food temperature and quality, inventory, and running dish machines.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate goodmunication andanization skills. Computer proficiency is also required. Previous food & beverage experience (preferably in a hotel) is required; previous supervisory experience is also required.

This is a fast-paced position that will involve standing and walking during most of the shift. Candidates must be able to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.

This is a full-time opportunity, and candidates must have open availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications for this position:

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Refined verbalmunication skills.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight (about 50 pounds)
