Click here SUMMARY: The Territory Manager reports to the Area Manager and is a route sales delivery person with a focus on servicing and expanding our existing customer base. Key business segments serviced by the Territory Manager include offices, professional services, fine dining and casual & family restaurants, hotels & conference centers, coffee shops, resorts and clubs, healthcare facilities, and colleges and universities. Providing outstanding service is the responsibility of every Royal Cup employee and this is the key to success. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None.
- Master all aspects of route operations including best inventory practices, safe-driving, and customer service.
- Achieve goals set by the manager for safety, inventory, schedule compliance and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one during the hiring process.
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing and success-driven personality.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to operate office equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and interpret correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally for meetings, training, or work-related events.
- The ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process
- 1-2 years of experience as a route delivery driver.
- Experience within the foodservice environment.
- The ability to safely climb up and down stairs or ramps at customer locations, and in and out of trucks.
- The ability to sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- The ability to use hand tools and fingering/handling to operate buttons/levers of equipment.
- The ability to push or pull up to 250lbs with the use of hand truck, and lift equipment or product up to 55lbs.
- The ability carry product up to 40lbs.
