Housekeeping Supervisor North Campus

JOB SUMMARY :

Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest Integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner. Includes buffing floors as needed.

WORK HOURS : Rotatingshifts from four to eight hours with some overtime when required

WORKERSSUPERVISED: HK-1, HK-2, HK-Surgery Attendant

SUPERVISED BY: Assistant Manager, Department Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION- Mustbe able to read and write.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE - Job requires previous supervisorexperience and current hospital experience is desired. The employee will complete an orientationprogram of sufficient duration and content to prepare them for specific duties; One to three (1-3) years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience preferred

J OB KNOWLEDGE - J ob requires employee to perform tasksand assignments under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and/orDepartment Director. Is expected toanalyze situations and act within the scope of standard procedures.
