We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join our exceptional leadership team and ensure that every dining experience reflects the quality and warmth of our club.

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of F&B service, from a la carte dining to banquets, ensuring outstanding quality, service, and presentation. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, requiring strong operational knowledge, people management skills, and a passion for hospitality.

This position reports to the Clubhouse Manager and works closely with the Executive Chef, General Manager, and other department leaders to deliver seamless service and exceed member expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all F&B outlets, including restaurants, banquet operations, snack bar, beverage carts, and bar service
  • Maintain a strong floor presence during service, interacting with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly
  • Manage inventories, control COGS, and ensure par levels are maintained based on club needs
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, product selection, and pricing strategies
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards across all F&B operations
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for a diverse team, including managers, supervisors, and service staff
  • Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance service, efficiency, and member engagement
  • Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and fully functioning equipment
  • Utilize recommended inventory management systems and analytical tools to drive efficiency and reduce waste
  • Build strong relationships with Troon-preferred suppliers and participate in vendor programs
  • Forecast business volumes and adjust staffing, costs, and resources accordingly
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with Troon values and delivers memorable dining experiences

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • 6 months–1 year of related F&B management experience; F&B Director or multi-outlet management experience strongly preferred
  • Country club or upscale hospitality environment experience required
  • Proven experience managing other managers and leading large teams
  • Strong understanding of cost controls, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Food Safety, Sanitation, and Alcohol Awareness certifications required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Professional, polished, and service-focused demeanor

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Regular lifting of up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in varying conditions including outdoor weather and moderate noise environments
