Overview Velocity Wings, a beloved community-focused restaurant known for its fresh wings, burgers, and vibrant atmosphere, is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and overseeing the front-of-house operations to create memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers, to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service. Ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by actively engaging with them, addressing any concerns or requests promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor service quality, presentation, and adherence to restaurant standards, including cleanliness and hygiene. Assist in managing inventory levels for dining room supplies and coordinate with vendors for timely restocking. Gather and relay guest feedback to management for continuous improvement. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting. Knowledge of food safety and health regulations. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds. Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Clear verbal communication with guests and team members. Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed. Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
